Armagnac Laberdolive - Domaine de Jaurrey 1989
The Bas Armagnac Laberdolive are meticulously crafted by the renowned Laberdolive family of merchants, active since 1893. They passionately manage the Domaine de Jaurrey, an exceptional terroir located in the heart of the Labastide d’Armagnac wine region, between Landes and Gers, known for its ideal growing conditions. The traditional grape varieties cultivated on this prestigious estate are Colombard, Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, and Bacco, carefully selected to ensure aromatic richness and authenticity. The distillation is carried out artisanally using a traditional copper still, passed down through generations, ensuring superior quality eaux-de-vie. These are then patiently aged in oak barrels from the estate's forests, which impart deep aromas and unique complexity. Each vintage, such as the 1989, finely expresses the terroir's specificities and the particular climatic conditions of the harvest year, thus offering an exceptional Armagnac, rich in character and history.
