Gaston Legrand - Vintage 1993 - Bas Armagnac - 40%
The Maison Lhéraud is located in the heart of the prestigious Lasdoux estate, situated in the commune of Angeac, right in the Cognac appellation in Charentes. Founded in 1860, it owes its origin to Alexandre Lhéraud, the family pioneer who planted the first vines in his garden. Today, this exceptional estate covers 85 hectares of vineyards, spread over two of the six remarkable crus of Cognac, with a predominance of the renowned Petite Champagne, known for the finesse of its eaux-de-vie. The Lhéraud family owns five traditional cellars made of blonde Charente stone, where oak barrels from Limousin are carefully stored, thus promoting a natural and authentic aging of the eaux-de-vie. From Lannepax in Gers, Maison Lhéraud also produces a prestigious range of Armagnacs under the name Baron Gaston Legrand. These Armagnacs are made from a single distillation carried out with dry white wines from the exceptional terroir of Ténarèze, distilled in a traditional column still. Discover the perfect balance between tradition, artisanal know-how, and regional character for an exceptional spirit.
