Gaston Legrand - Vintage 1977 - Bas Armagnac - 40%
\nThe Maison Lhéraud is located at the Lasdoux estate, situated in the commune of Angeac, right in the heart of the prestigious Cognac appellation in Charentes. Founded in 1860, the Lhéraud family began a winemaking tradition with Alexandre Lhéraud, a pioneer who planted the first vines in his family garden. Today, this estate encompasses 85 hectares of vineyards spread over 2 of the 6 historic crus of Cognac, with a predominance of the renowned Petite Champagne. The Lhéraud family also owns 5 authentic cellars built from the blonde Charente stone, housing Limousin oak barrels, thus ensuring a natural and optimal aging of the eaux-de-vie. From the Lannepax region in Gers, Maison Lhéraud produces a wide and refined range of Armagnacs under the emblematic brand Baron Gaston Legrand. These Armagnacs, made from a single distillation of dry white wines from the unique terroir of Ténarèze, are distilled in a traditional column still, guaranteeing the purity and authenticity of the final product.
