Gaston Legrand - Vintage 1998 - Bas Armagnac - 40% ABV
The Maison Lhéraud is an iconic player located at the Lasdoux estate, in the commune of Angeac, in the heart of the Cognac appellation in Charentes. Founded in 1860, when Alexandre Lhéraud was the first in his family to plant vines in his garden, this house today perpetuates exceptional know-how. The estate extends over 85 hectares of vineyards spread over two of the six prestigious crus of Cognac, with a predominance of the precious Petite Champagne. The Lhéraud family owns five traditional cellars, built from blonde Charente stone, where Limousin oak barrels rest carefully, ensuring natural aging and optimal quality of the eaux-de-vie. From Lannepax in the Gers, Maison Lhéraud produces a complete range of exceptional Armagnacs under the Baron Gaston Legrand label. These Armagnacs, renowned for their purity and aromatic richness, come from a single distillation of dry white wines from the unique terroir of Ténarèze, carried out in a traditional column still.
