Gaston Legrand - Vintage 1991 - Bas Armagnac - 40%
The Maison Lhéraud is located at the Lasdoux estate, in the commune of Angeac, right in the heart of the Cognac appellation in Charentes. Founded in 1860, when Alexandre Lhéraud planted the first vines in his garden, this family house perpetuates an ancestral know-how. Today, the estate covers 85 hectares of vines carefully distributed over two of the six prestigious crus of Cognac, with a predominance for the renowned Petite Champagne. The Lhéraud family owns five historic cellars made of blonde Charente stone, where Limousin oak barrels patiently rest, thus promoting a natural and optimal aging of the eaux-de-vie. From Lannepax, in the Gers, Maison Lhéraud produces a renowned range of Armagnacs under the exceptional label Baron Gaston Legrand. These unique Armagnacs result from a single distillation, made from dry white wines from the exceptional terroir of Ténarèze, carried out in a traditional column still. Discover the art of distillation and the unparalleled aromatic bouquet of this rare vintage, symbols of the quality and authenticity offered by Clos des Spiritueux.
