Gaston Legrand - Vintage 1987 - Bas Armagnac - 40% ABV
The Maison Lhéraud is ideally located at the Lasdoux estate, in the charming commune of Angeac, right in the heart of the Cognac appellation in the lush Charentes region. Founded in 1860, it was Alexandre Lhéraud who was the first in the family to plant vines in his garden, thus marking the beginning of an exceptional winemaking tradition. Today, the estate covers 85 hectares of carefully tended vineyards, spread over two of the six prestigious Cognac crus, with a predominance of the renowned Petite Champagne. The Lhéraud family also owns five historic cellars made of the typical blonde stone of Charente, housing Limousin oak barrels that ensure a natural, slow, and harmonious aging, thus guaranteeing superior quality of their eaux-de-vie.
Committed to authenticity and excellence, Maison Lhéraud, from Lannepax in the Gers, produces a refined range of Armagnacs under the renowned Baron Gaston Legrand label. These Armagnacs come from a simple and controlled distillation of dry white wines from the exceptional terroir of Ténarèze, carried out in a traditional column still. This ancient method gives the Armagnacs a unique aromatic complexity and unmatched taste quality, perfect for connoisseurs and lovers of high-end spirits.
