BOLOGNE - ETHICS - Organic White Rum - 50%
The Bologne Distillery, located in the heart of Guadeloupe, benefits from a rich heritage dating back to 1887. Its name comes from the former owners of the sugar factory, established on the fertile lands of the slopes of the majestic La Soufrière. The Bologne family, Protestant, migrated to Holland during the religious wars before settling in Brazil, then a Dutch colony, in 1580 to cultivate sugar cane. After being forced to leave Brazil and then Martinique, they arrived in Guadeloupe in 1654. The history of the Bologne sugar estate is marked by many historical events, including those related to the French Revolution, which affected its activity over the centuries. Thanks to the vision of Louis Sargenton-Callarden in 1930, the estate refocused on producing an exceptional Agricultural Rum.
L’Éthique is a single-variety white rum, carefully crafted from yellow canes grown under strict organic farming practices. This organic white rum perfectly embodies the responsible and sustainable approach that the Bologne distillery passionately pursues. Its production combines respect for the environment, Guadeloupean terroir, and ancestral know-how, making L’Éthique an essential reference for lovers of authentic and ethical agricultural rums.
