Distillerie Massenez - Curaçao Triple Sec Liqueur - 35%
The Distillerie Massenez is located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in the heart of the prestigious Alsace region. Founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a recognized master distiller, this traditional distillery has been preserving exceptional expertise for over 150 years. In 1913, Eugène Massenez, the founder's son, created for the first time a wild raspberry eau-de-vie, which quickly became famous and appreciated by the Queen of Sweden, earning the distillery the title of official supplier to the Swedish royal court. The third generation, represented by Gabriel Eugène, strengthened the house's reputation by establishing prestigious partnerships with starred chefs such as Paul Bocuse and renowned restaurants like La Tour d’Argent. Due to this remarkable growth, a new distillery was inaugurated in 1979 to meet increasing demand. Today, the brand is distributed in more than 110 countries, continuously expanding its range of exceptional products. In 2010, Distillerie Massenez partnered with the Grandes Distilleries Peureux, recognized leaders and producers of the famous Griottines nestled on the other side of the Vosges. Under the visionary leadership of Bernard Baud, president of Grandes Distilleries Peureux, Distillerie Massenez has experienced a renewal while preserving the authenticity and ancestral DNA of the House.
A liqueur is a spirit obtained by maceration or distillation of neutral alcohol enriched with sugar and natural flavors. Among liqueurs, fruit cream stands out for its particularly high sugar content. The essential difference between a liqueur and a fruit cream lies in their sugar content: a liqueur contains a minimum of 100 g of sugar per liter with an alcohol content ranging from 15 to 55%, while fruit creams exceed 250 grams of sugar per liter. These refined products are used both in the creation of sophisticated cocktails and as tasty digestifs, as well as gourmet ingredients to enhance your culinary recipes.
