The Massenez Distillery is located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in the heart of the Alsace wine region. Founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a passionate master distiller, this family distillery carries on an ancestral know-how passed down from generation to generation. In 1913, his son Eugène Massenez innovated by distilling wild raspberry eau-de-vie for the first time, highly prized by the Queen of Sweden, which elevated the distillery to the status of official supplier to the Swedish royal court. The third generation, represented by Gabriel Eugène, consolidated the house's reputation by partnering with French haute cuisine, collaborating with starred chefs like Paul Bocuse and prestigious establishments such as La Tour d’Argent. Facing the growth of its production, a new modern distillery was inaugurated in 1979 to meet increasing demand. Today, the brand is distributed in more than 110 countries while diversifying its catalog of exceptional products. In 2010, Massenez Distillery joined the Grandes Distilleries Peureux group, renowned for their expertise and notably the famous Griottines.
