Massenez Distillery - Blueberry Cream - 20%
The Massenez Distillery, located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in the heart of the exceptional Alsace region, is an iconic house founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a recognized master distiller. As early as 1913, his son Eugène Massenez innovated by distilling wild raspberry brandy for the first time, an exceptional creation acclaimed by the Queen of Sweden, which allowed the distillery to become the official supplier to the Swedish royal court. The third generation, represented by Gabriel Eugène Massenez, expanded the house's reputation by partnering with top Michelin-starred chefs such as Bocuse and prestigious gastronomic institutions like La Tour d’Argent. In response to this growing momentum, a new distillery was inaugurated in 1979, thereby increasing production capacity. Today, the brand is present in over 110 countries and has diversified its catalog of exceptional products. In 2010, Massenez Distillery joined the ranks of the Grandes Distilleries Peureux. Under the leadership of Bernard Baud, President of Grandes Distilleries Peureux, known notably for their famous Griottines, a new impetus was given while preserving the authenticity and intact DNA of this ancestral house.
A liqueur is defined as a neutral alcohol to which sugar and natural flavors are added. Among the major families of flavored spirits, fruit cream stands out notably for its high sugar content. Indeed, the key difference between a classic liqueur and a fruit cream lies in the amount of sugar: a liqueur must contain at least 100 g\/L of sugar with an alcohol content ranging from 15 to 55%, while those with sugar content exceeding 250 grams per liter are designated as "creams." These fruit liqueurs and creams are particularly prized not only for crafting refined cocktails but also as exceptional digestifs or to enhance your culinary recipes.
