Massenez Distillery - Green Apple Liqueur - 18%

The Massenez Distillery is located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in the heart of the authentic wine and gastronomic region of Alsace. Founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a recognized master distiller, this family distillery embodies over a century of artisanal expertise. In 1913, his son Eugène Massenez innovated by distilling for the first time an exceptional wild raspberry eau-de-vie, recognized and appreciated by the Queen of Sweden, which earned the distillery the prestigious title of official supplier to the Swedish royal court.
Gabriel Eugène, representing the third generation, enhanced the house's reputation by establishing partnerships with starred chefs, notably Paul Bocuse, as well as iconic gastronomic establishments such as La Tour d’Argent. In response to sustained growth, a new modern distillery was inaugurated in 1979, allowing expansion of production and exporting Massenez quality to over 110 countries.
Since 2010, the Massenez Distillery has partnered with the Grandes Distilleries Peureux, known for their expertise and notably the famous Griottines. Bernard Baud, President of Grandes Distilleries Peureux, brings a new dynamic momentum while carefully preserving the authenticity and unique DNA of the Massenez House.

The liqueur is a spirit made from neutral alcohol, carefully sweetened and finely flavored to offer a balanced and refined tasting experience. Among liqueurs, fruit creams stand out for their richness in sugar. The main difference between a classic liqueur and a fruit cream lies in the sugar content: a liqueur contains at least 100 grams of sugar per liter with an alcohol content ranging from 15% to 55%. Liqueurs exceeding 250 grams of sugar per liter are classified as "creams."
The fruit liqueurs and creams from Massenez Distillery are ideal for enhancing cocktails, digestifs, and culinary creations, bringing a touch of elegance and flavor to every use.
