Distillerie Massenez - Blackberry Cream - 20%
The Distillerie Massenez, rooted in Dieffenbach-au-Val in Alsace, is an iconic house founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a recognized master distiller. As early as 1913, his son Eugène Massenez innovated by distilling the first wild raspberry eau-de-vie, an exceptional product that captivated the Queen of Sweden, thus elevating the distillery to the status of official supplier to the Swedish royal court. The third generation, represented by Gabriel Eugène, strengthened the distillery's reputation by partnering with renowned starred chefs such as Paul Bocuse and prestigious establishments like La Tour d’Argent, combining tradition and gastronomic excellence. To support its rapid growth, a new distillery was established in 1979. Today, the brand exports to more than 110 countries, successfully diversifying its range of spirits. In 2010, Distillerie Massenez joined the Grandes Distilleries Peureux. Under the leadership of Bernard Baud, a recognized president and master of the famous Griottines, this dynamic alliance breathes new life into the company while preserving the authenticity and unique know-how of this historic house.
A liqueur is a neutral alcohol to which sugar and natural flavors are added. Fruit cream, such as blackberry cream, belongs to the large family of liqueurs but is distinguished by a higher sugar content, ensuring a smooth texture and a sweeter taste, ideal for enhancing your culinary creations and cocktails. Indeed, while a liqueur contains at least 100 g of sugar per liter with an alcohol content ranging from 15 to 55%, fruit creams exceed 250 grams of sugar per liter, thus offering a rich and balanced tasting experience. These versatile spirits can be enjoyed both as a digestif, for a refined end to a meal, and as a key ingredient in the preparation of creative cocktails and gastronomic recipes.
