La Mentheuse was born from the shared passion of three friends from Languedoc, Lionel and Dominique Albano as well as Frédéric Bion. Experts in the wine and gastronomy sector, with a particular affection for artisan digestive liqueurs with authentic and powerful flavors, they wanted to offer a local alternative, lighter in alcohol and more respectful of natural flavors. In April 2018, after several months of meticulous research in collaboration with the Grap’Sud distillery, renowned for its expertise in wine-based spirits near Uzès, they created an innovative cream without additives, balanced, low in alcohol and discreet in sugars, to fully reveal the rich aromas of three varieties of mint: thus was born La Mentheuse.
Its ideal complement, the lemon cream, was unveiled in turn after a long period of careful maturation, guaranteeing unique finesse and freshness.
The very latest digestive innovation signed La Mentheuse is now available: La Croqueuse. This exclusive creation highlights the apple, a new ambassador of fruity and gourmet flavors.
