Massenez Distillery - Mirabelle Liqueur - 17%

The Massenez Distillery is located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in the heart of the magnificent Alsace region, renowned for its rich artisanal heritage and exceptional spirits. Founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a passionate master distiller, this family business preserves a unique know-how passed down from generation to generation. In 1913, Eugène Massenez, the founder's son, innovated by distilling wild raspberry for the first time, a prestigious eau-de-vie recognized and appreciated up to the royal court of Sweden, making the distillery an official supplier to His Majesty. The third generation, with Gabriel Eugène, strengthened Massenez's reputation through exceptional partnerships with starred chefs such as Paul Bocuse and iconic establishments like La Tour d’Argent. In response to sustained growth, a new distillery was established in 1979, allowing the brand to expand to more than 110 countries while diversifying its catalog. Since 2010, the alliance with the Grandes Distilleries Peureux, known for their famous Griottines, has brought innovative momentum, led by Bernard Baud, while respecting the authenticity and original DNA of the House.

The liqueur is a spirit obtained by maceration of neutral alcohol, sweetened and delicately flavored. Fruit cream belongs to this large family of liqueurs but is mainly distinguished by its high sugar content. A classic liqueur must contain at least 100 g/L of sugar and an alcohol content between 15% and 55%. Liqueurs exceeding 250 g/L of sugar are called "creams," offering a smooth and round texture on the palate. These exceptional products, emblematic of French know-how, are perfect for making sophisticated cocktails, enjoying as a refined digestif, or enhancing your culinary preparations, providing depth and aromatic intensity.
