Massenez Distillery - Lychee Liqueur - 24%
The Massenez Distillery is nestled in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in the heart of the renowned wine region of Alsace. Founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a passionate master distiller, this traditional distillery continues an exceptional artisanal expertise. In 1913, his son Eugène Massenez innovated by distilling wild raspberry for the first time, producing a remarkable eau-de-vie that won over the Queen of Sweden, elevating the distillery to the status of official supplier to the Swedish royal court. Gabriel Eugène, representing the third generation, expanded the house's reputation by closely collaborating with several great names in French gastronomy, such as Bocuse and La Tour d’Argent, prestigious starred restaurants. Facing growing demand, a new ultra-modern distillery was established in 1979. Since then, the brand has established itself in over 110 countries and continuously enriches its range of fine spirits and refined liqueurs. In 2010, Massenez Distillery joined forces with the Grandes Distilleries Peureux, renowned for their famous Griottines. Under the leadership of Bernard Baud, President of Grandes Distilleries Peureux, a new momentum was born, while preserving the authentic soul and unique DNA of the House.
A liqueur is a neutral alcohol, finely sweetened and delicately flavored. Fruit cream belongs to this large family of liqueurs. The main distinction between a liqueur and a fruit cream lies in their sugar content. A liqueur contains a minimum of 100 g\/L of sugar and an alcohol content ranging between 15% and 55%. When the sugar content exceeds 250 grams per liter, the product is then called "creams." These fruit liqueurs and creams are ideal for creating innovative cocktails, enjoyed as refined digestifs, and integrate perfectly into gourmet cooking to enhance your recipes.
