The Massenez Distillery is located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in the heart of authentic Alsace. Founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a passionate master distiller, this family business has been preserving a unique traditional know-how for over a century. In 1913, his son Eugène Massenez innovated by distilling wild raspberries for the first time, creating an exceptional eau-de-vie that charmed the Queen of Sweden. This royal recognition elevated the distillery to the status of official supplier to the Swedish King's court. The third generation, represented by Gabriel Eugène, enhanced the distillery's prestige by partnering with the greatest names in French gastronomy, collaborating with starred chefs like Paul Bocuse and gastronomic institutions such as La Tour d’Argent. Facing growing demand, a new modern distillery was established in 1979, enabling the brand to conquer more than 110 countries today while diversifying its range of premium products. In 2010, Massenez Distillery joined forces with the Grandes Distilleries Peureux, known for their Griottines. Under the leadership of Bernard Baud, this synergy brought innovative momentum while scrupulously respecting the DNA and authenticity of the Massenez House.

A liqueur refers to a sweetened and flavored neutral alcohol. Among the vast family of liqueurs, fruit creams stand out by having a higher sugar content. The main difference between a liqueur and a fruit cream lies in their sugar concentration: a liqueur must contain at least 100 g/L of sugar with an alcohol content ranging from 15 to 55%. When the sugar content exceeds 250 g/L, the drink is classified as "creams." These fruit liqueurs and creams are perfect for enhancing your cocktails, serving as a refined digestif, or enriching your culinary creations.

The crème de cassis, an emblematic specialty, is subject to strict regulations; it must have a guaranteed sugar content of 400 g/L, which gives it its sweet and balanced character. It reflects the Dijon terroir, renowned worldwide for its authenticity and incomparable quality.
