Rhum Rhum PMG is one of the most innovative and youngest distilleries in the Caribbean, founded in 2006 thanks to the prestigious alliance of great rum names: Velier, Capovilla, and Bielle. Although located within the Bielle distillery, it remains completely independent, except for its supply of freshly harvested cane juice. This distillery stands out for a revolutionary approach aimed at enhancing agricultural white rum, placing it among the best in the world. The cane juice is fermented directly, without prior dilution with water, under rigorous control allowing slow and long fermentations lasting 7 to 9 days, for exceptional aromatic development.
The vesou is then distilled through a double pot still distillation, carried out in two copper stills heated by a water bath following the innovative technique of Bernd Müller. Part of the rums is aged in exceptional barrels made from oak that previously contained Bourbon, Burgundy, or Sauternes, thus offering unique and complex profiles on the palate.
This exclusive edition comes from pure and fresh cane juice, slowly fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature and masterfully distilled by master distiller Vittoria Gianni Capovilla. The distillation is done in traditional copper Müller stills heated by a water bath, ensuring finesse and subtlety of aromas. This rum was then reduced with highly pure rainwater to 56°, making this late 2021 edition a must-have for high-end rum enthusiasts seeking authenticity and character.
