The Neisson Distillery is ideally located in Carbet, Martinique, a region renowned for the exceptional quality of its agricultural rums. Founded in 1932 by the Neisson brothers, this family distillery continues a tradition of excellence. Jean Neisson, a chemical engineer, dedicated his life to optimizing distillation processes to achieve perfection. Today, this expertise is passed down by his descendants, Claudine and then her son Grégory, who have successfully combined heritage and modernity.
Committed to an exemplary sustainable approach, the distillery began in 2013 a conversion to certified organic farming, a first in Martinique born from a passion for excellence and environmental preservation. In 2016, the first organic AOC Martinique rum was introduced, a testament to their strong commitment. More than 40 hectares of cultivated land now adopt agroecological practices, ensuring optimal quality while respecting local biodiversity.
Innovative techniques include the exclusive use of indigenous yeasts, carefully selected from those naturally present on sugarcane, thus promoting the pure expression of the terroir. Perfect mastery of crop varieties adapted to each plot, rigorous irrigation management to save water, and ecological treatment of effluents strengthen the sustainable balance of this unique ecosystem. Thus, Neisson produces agricultural rums of rare quality, synonymous with authenticity and harmony with their environment.

This Neisson XO Full Proof 2013, barreled on July 30, 2013, is limited to only 65 numbered bottles, making each one a true collector's item. The bottle was meticulously hand-painted by Carole Aurore, a Martiniquais painter recognized for her sensitivity and talent, bringing a unique artistic dimension to this precious rum.
