CHALONG BAY - High Proof - 57%

Chalong Bay is located on the southeast coast of Phuket, in Thailand. The name Chalong, which means "celebration" in Thai, perfectly embodies the authentic spirit of Chalong Bay, a place that honors the ancestral traditions of rum production as well as the rich blend of heritage, culture, and craftsmanship of local artisans. Chalong Bay rums are crafted artisanally with a focus on sustainable production, excellently combining the traditional French art of distillation with the unique heritage of Thai sugarcane. They use a traditional copper still imported directly from France, employing an ancestral distillation process centuries old, recognized for enhancing natural aromas. After extensive research, a single indigenous variety of sugarcane of exceptional quality is rigorously selected. It is cultivated without any chemical fertilizers, in close collaboration with committed local farmers who ensure meticulous manual harvesting, thus guaranteeing the original purity and integrity of the natural cane juice. This approach guarantees a premium natural rum with incomparable aromatic richness, respecting both nature and traditions, making Chalong Bay an exceptional rum acclaimed by connoisseurs.
