BIELLE - Premium Amber Rum - 45%
\nThe Bielle distillery, an artisanal gem located in the heart of the paradisiacal island of Marie-Galante in the French Antilles, benefits from a rich historical heritage and authentic know-how. Founded from coffee plantations in 1769 by Jean-Pierre Bielle, the family transformed its estate into a refinery-sugar factory covering 53 hectares in 1826. Rum production on this exceptional estate intensified at the beginning of the 20th<\/sup> century. After a period of abandonment following World War II, the distillery was revived under the impetus of Paul Rameaux in 1955, then taken over in 1975 by the SEDB (Société d’Exploitation de la Distillerie Bielle), which passionately continues the tradition.
\nThe Bielle distillery is now internationally recognized among the most prestigious in the Antilles, thanks to its commitment to quality and close relationships with small local sugarcane producers. The juice extracted from the cane is carefully obtained via two traditional mills before being fermented for 48 hours, ensuring a unique aromatic richness. Distillation then takes place in three stainless steel Savalle columns, ensuring remarkable purity and finesse.
\nBielle's Premium amber rum is a true gustatory gem, crafted through a double distillation process: a first step in a Creole column, followed by a second distillation in a traditional copper still. This distinctive amber rum stands out for its original and complex character, enhanced by the Muller column which adds additional aromatic richness. Its aging in French oak barrels imparts elegant woody notes and exceptional depth. An exceptional rum that every enthusiast should taste at least once to discover the quintessence of Antillean rum.
