The rums from the house of Clos des Spiritueux embody the excellence of artisanal and authentic rums, strictly adhering to the purest tradition of Clairin. The sugar canes used do not come from hybrid lineages but are carefully cultivated with absolute respect for traditional methods and the environment, with organic certification ensuring sustainable farming. Meticulously hand-harvested, the canes are transported to the distillery in traditional Cabriolets – these iconic ox carts – where they are distilled fresh. Fermentation occurs naturally, without the addition of enzymes, followed by delicate distillation in pot stills heated over an open flame, thus preserving the full aromatic richness of the rum. Finally, the rum is bottled at its natural strength, ensuring optimal quality and authenticity.

This exceptional clairin rum has undergone 22 months of aging in ex-Bourbon whisky barrels, a carefully controlled maturation that brings complexity and depth to its unique amber aromas. This exclusive bottle is offered without a box, ideal for enthusiasts seeking the quintessence of artisanal clairin rum.
