RHUM NEISSON - White Rum in Organic Conversion - 52.50%
Founded in 1931 during the interwar period, the Neisson house was born from the passion of the brothers Adrien and Hildebert Pamphile, nicknamed Jean Neisson. They acquired the La Thieulbert estate, then equipped with 20 hectares of plantations, located in the northwest of Martinique, near Saint-Pierre, at the majestic foot of Mount Pelée. Adrien, the elder, dedicated himself to setting up an artisanal distillery, while his younger brother Jean completed his studies in Paris. While Adrien carefully produced rums on the island, Jean established an import-export company to market these exceptional spirits in Paris. Passionate about distillation, Jean perfected the techniques by commissioning a Savalle column modified according to his own directives to optimize the quality of Neisson rums.
Today, the family distillery, one of the last authentic ones in Martinique, is still run by the Neisson family. The estate continues to exclusively cultivate its own 40 hectares of sugarcane, thus guaranteeing total control over quality and exemplary traceability.
Committed to a sustainable and environmentally respectful approach, Neisson is beginning a conversion to organic farming without compromising the excellence of its products. This White Rum in Organic Conversion perfectly illustrates this major transition, symbolizing an ancestral know-how combined with current ecological requirements. Neisson thus establishes itself as a key player in the world of rare and committed rums, offering enthusiasts a pure, powerful, and naturally authentic spirit.
