RHUM RHUM - Old rum - Release 2017 - 45%

Rhumrhum is one of the youngest distilleries in the Caribbean, it was founded in 2006 by the association of big names of rum: Velier, Capovilla and Bielle. It is also hosted in Bielle although it is independent (except for its supply of cane juice). This distillery is distinguished by a revolutionary approach and seeks to bring a wave of novelty hoisting its agricultural white rum among the largest. For example, juices are fermented directly without dilution with water as is customary then the fermentation process is rigorously controlled for slow fermentations ... that go up to 7 to 9 days! This gives their rums an incomparable aromatic richness. The vesou is then subjected to a double distillation in two brass stills heated in a bain-marie (technique by Bernd Müller). Some of their rum is then aged in old barrels of bourbons, burgundy and sauternes.

This old rum Libération 2017 45% is therefore part of these rums, this is the reduced version. It was created from authentic varieties of cane and rare today that can only be found on the island of Marie-Galante, red canes and B47.258. After a manual harvest, they were brought back to the distillery in oxcarts, a touch of authenticity that seduced us. Why Liberation? Because these rums are aged almost 7 years in oak barrels before being released :) For the pleasure of lovers of rums. Of course breeding 100% tropical. Taste level, we are on characteristic aromas of citrus fruits, spices and tropical fruits. Exquisite aromas. A bottle of collection at all levels :)
