TW Spiritueux is located in Laguiole, in the heart of the authentic Aubrac region in Aveyron, a land rich in traditions and know-how. Founded in 2014 by 12 passionate friends, this artisanal distillery has set itself the mission of producing exceptional whisky. They chose to install their brewery and still in the village's former presbytery, named Le Presbytère des Anges, then transformed the old Laguiole convent into a unique aging cellar, benefiting from an ideal natural environment to refine their spirits. Driven by their passion for quality rums, they also launched an exclusive range of rums, highlighting the blending talent of their cellar master, Florent Caston.
Basalt perfectly embodies the soul and excellence of the Twelve distillery. This emblematic whisky, created in 2017, is the result of a complex and mastered blend of 6 types of prestigious casks: Port, Bourbon, Rum, red Pineau des Charentes, Monbazillac, and new oak. This unique alchemy gives the Basalt Single Malt an incomparable aromatic richness, evidenced by its deep and elegant notes. Bottled in November 2021, this #3 edition underwent a slow reduction over several months to preserve the purity of its flavors, without filtration or coloring. This prestigious series is limited to only 5,000 bottles, guaranteeing rarity and unmatched quality for lovers of exceptional whisky.
