Rhum Rhum PMG is one of the most innovative and recent distilleries in the Caribbean, founded in 2006 by the prestigious alliance of major rum players: Velier, Capovilla, and Bielle. Located within the Bielle distillery, while remaining fully independent except for its supply of cane juice, it stands out for an artisanal and avant-garde approach. Rhum Rhum aims to revolutionize the market by offering exceptional agricultural white rums, among the most refined in the region. The cane juices are fermented without dilution with water, with rigorous control of fermentation that slowly extends over 7 to 9 days, thus ensuring remarkable aromatic complexity. The vesou is then subjected to a double pot still distillation, carried out in two copper stills gently heated in a bain-marie, following the innovative technique of Bernd Müller. Part of these rums is aged in prestigious barrels, made from former Bourbon, Burgundy, and Sauternes casks, giving these spirits a unique and refined profile.
Rhum Rhum Liberation 2020 is the result of an exceptionally long fermentation, combined with traditional discontinuous bain-marie distillation in small copper stills, guaranteeing finesse and purity of aromas. The aging takes place in noble wooden barrels that previously held great French white wines, bringing subtle and complex notes. The date indicated on the label corresponds to the official "liberation" of the product in 2020, not its distillation date: every step of production is carefully planned and controlled to deliver an artisanal rum with a unique and exceptional character.
