Founded in 2005 by enthusiasts William and Isabella Wemyss, this family business draws its roots from the prestigious history of Scottish whisky. Indeed, their ancestors established the first Haig distillery in 1840 on their ancestral lands, located in the famous Kingdom of Fife. For decades, these lands have been carefully cultivated to produce exceptional barley, selected by the best maltsters to ensure the superior quality of the whiskies produced.
Inspired by his experience with master wine blenders from southern France, William Wemyss envisioned Scottish whiskies that are both innovative and bold, while Isabella, gifted with a keen sense of taste and smell, discovers the most remarkable Single Malts of Scotland and the best exceptional casks from around the world. Smoked Pico de Gallo, inspired by the eponymous Mexican salsa sauce, is a Single Malt whisky produced in 1992 by the famous Bowmore Distillery, a prestigious distillery located on the Isle of Islay in Scotland, land of peated whiskies rich in character. This treasure matured for 26 years in carefully chosen casks, resulting in only 235 exceptional bottles, prized by enthusiasts and collectors.
