Vintage Chesterfields (literally meaning "Retro Sofa") is a whisky from the Invergordon distillery distilled in 1988. This iconic distillery, founded in 1959 in the town of the same name located in the Scottish Highlands, is known for its very fine Single Grain whiskies. This type of whisky is made only from four natural ingredients: pure water, malted barley, whole grains, and yeast. This Vintage Chesterfields has benefited from 30 years of maturation in ex-Sherry butt casks, carefully selected by the Wemyss family. This prolonged aging imparts exceptional aromatic complexity and elegant richness. Production is limited to 501 numbered bottles, making this whisky a true collector's item.
