The J. Bally distillery, located in Le Carbet in Martinique near the majestic Mount Pelée, is a true reference in the world of quality agricultural rums. Founded in 1917 when Jacques Bally bought the Habitation Lajus, an old sugar factory dating back to the 1670s, this house combines tradition and innovation. A graduate engineer from the École Centrale de Paris, Jacques Bally was a pioneer by installing a modern steam engine and developing a unique Creole column still, inspired by Cognac distillation methods. A pioneer in aging agricultural rums, he gave his production a striking visual identity with a distinctive bottle design, first pyramid-shaped then square. Today, the famous Saint-James distillery ensures the distillation of Bally rums, perpetuating this prestigious heritage.

This cuvée from the 2006 vintage is an extra old agricultural rum, remarkable for its elegance and complexity. Bottled in the iconic pyramid-shaped bottle unique to the brand, this rum is a limited edition created especially to celebrate the 70 years of Maison Velier, the recognized Italian leader in bottling and distributing high-end rums. Marc Sassier, a renowned expert, supervised the careful selection and aging of this rum which matured 11 years in oak barrels, giving it rich aromas and refined notes that delight connoisseurs.
