Created by a collective of four partners, including the famous actor Jean Dujardin, this French rye whisky is distinguished by a perfectly mastered youthful energy, precise maturation in American oak barrels, and a commitment to organic production from the grain to bottling. Far from simply imitating American standards, it boasts a 100% Bordeaux signature: pure grain, precise texture, aromatic intensity, and a vibrant freshness on the finish.
The secret to this exceptional recipe lies in the use of certified organic rye, carefully fermented to amplify the full richness of the natural spice spectrum. Distillation, carried out in small batches on a traditional pot still, preserves the authenticity of the grain while imparting a beautiful finesse. The three-year aging takes place exclusively in American oak barrels, bringing delicate notes of vanilla, blond caramel, and toasted coconut, refining the contours without masking the cereal structure. The 47% bottling fully asserts the style: more depth, expressive spices, an intense palate that is as convincing in pure tasting as in high-end mixology.
The nose reveals all the power of rye, carried by notes of bakery spices, caraway, sweet pepper, enriched by the imprint of American oak: natural vanilla, toffee, coconut shavings and a zesty hint of orange. On the palate, the attack is frank, generous, sublimated by toasted cereal, light maple syrup, a touch of cocoa, cinnamon, and a perfectly integrated alcohol. The finish, long, dry and clean, unfolds a very elegant woody and spicy score, with a persistent saline hint evoking the Bordeaux terroir.
Adventure No. 2 is best enjoyed neat, ideally around 16 to 18°C, with a drop of water to highlight its spicy profile. Thanks to its powerful structure (47%), it becomes a perfect ally in cocktails: a precise Manhattan with bold contours, a characterful Old Fashioned, a subtly vanilla Boulevardier or a refreshing highball with oceanic accents. At the table, it goes wonderfully with grilled duck breast, a veal chop with herbs, a mature Comté, a mild blue cheese or a nut and caramel dessert.
