Wemyss Malts (pronounced "Weyms' Malts") is a renowned independent bottler originating from Scotland. Founded in 2005 by siblings William and Isabella Wemyss, this family business continues a tradition of excellence linked to the rich history of Scottish whisky. Their heritage dates back to 1840, when the Haig family built the first distillery on their lands, in the heart of the prestigious Kingdom of Fife. For decades, these fertile lands have provided premium quality barley, essential for producing the finest whiskies. Inspired by his experience with wine blending experts in southern France, William Wemyss creates Scottish whiskies that are both bold and unique. Isabella Wemyss, with her keen sense of quality, rigorously selects some of the most prestigious Single Malts from Scotland, as well as the finest exceptional casks from around the world. With the expertise of their Master Blender, they blend these rare ingredients to create innovative blends rich in authentic and complex flavors.

Coaltown is an exceptional single malt from the Scottish Lowlands, made from locally grown barley carefully cultivated in the Fife region. This whisky is aged exclusively in casks that previously held peated whisky, giving it a subtle and refined aromatic signature.
