Isle of Raasay - R-02.01 - 46.4%

The Raasay Distillery is located on the Isle of Raasay , in the Hebrides Islands of Scotland . The distillery produces two products: Isle of Raasay Gin and Isle of Raasay Whiskey. All spirits are distilled, matured and bottled on the island using the mineral-rich water from their well, Tobar na Ba Bàine (meaning “well of the pale cow”). The Raasay Distillery supports local jobs on the island.

Two spirits from the island of Raasay (peated and unpeated) are matured separately in first-fill rye whiskey barrels (63%), fresh Chinkapin oak (26%) and first-fill Bordeaux red wine ( 11%) for a total of 6 barrels. R-02.01 is made from Concerto and Laureate barleys distilled in 2018 and 2019. It was bottled between September 15 and October 10, 2022.
