The prestigious house J. Bally was founded by Jacques Bally in Martinique, the essential cradle of exceptional agricultural rums. This master distiller crafted his spirit using artisanal methods similar to those used for French eaux-de-vie, enhancing the freshness of sugarcane juice. As early as 1917, Jacques Bally innovated by aging his rums in French oak barrels, a process offering a rare and sought-after aromatic complexity. In 1924, the brand stood out by packaging its rums in its famous triangular bottles, which have become a symbol of elegance and authenticity. Although the distillery closed its doors in 1989, production continued carefully at the Distillerie du Simon, ensuring the continuity of a tradition of excellence.
