The Distillerie Massenez is located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in the heart of the iconic Alsace region, renowned for its exceptional artisanal expertise. Founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a passionate master distiller, it has since established itself as a key reference in the world of high-end eaux-de-vie. In 1913, the distillery innovated by distilling a wild raspberry for the first time, which became an exceptional product adored by the Queen of Sweden, earning the house the prestigious title of official supplier to the Swedish royal court. Under the leadership of Gabriel Eugène, the third generation, the distillery strengthened its reputation by associating with gastronomic excellence, collaborating with starred chefs such as Bocuse and prestigious establishments like La Tour d’Argent. Facing sustained growth, a new modern distillery was established in 1979 to meet increasing global demand. Today, the brand is present in more than 110 countries and offers a diverse range of exceptional eaux-de-vie and spirits. In 2010, a strategic turning point occurred through a partnership with the Grandes Distilleries Peureux, renowned for their Griottines. Under the impetus of Bernard Baud, president of Grandes Distilleries Peureux, Distillerie Massenez has maintained its authenticity while injecting new innovative momentum, thus consolidating its heritage and premium positioning in the international spirits market.

An eau-de-vie is crafted through a rigorous process combining natural fermentation or alcoholic maceration of carefully selected fruits – such as pears, berries, roots, or nuts – followed by precise distillation.
