The Distillerie Massenez, an iconic producer of authentic eaux-de-vie, is ideally located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in the heart of the prestigious Alsace region. Founded in 1870 by the visionary Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a recognized master distiller, this artisanal distillery carries on an ancestral know-how. In 1913, his son Eugène Massenez innovated by distilling a wild raspberry eau-de-vie for the first time, which immediately charmed the Queen of Sweden, elevating the house to the status of official supplier to the Swedish royal court.

The third generation, represented by Gabriel Eugène Massenez, consolidated the distillery's international reputation by working closely with French haute cuisine. Star chefs such as Paul Bocuse and iconic establishments like La Tour d’Argent have showcased its exceptional spirits, the result of a constant pursuit of quality and excellence. To meet sustained growth, a new modern distillery was established in 1979, allowing the brand to conquer more than 110 countries worldwide and diversify its range of unique products.

In 2010, Distillerie Massenez joined forces with the Grandes Distilleries Peureux, renowned for their delicious Griottines, under the presidency of Bernard Baud.
