Massenez Distillery - Ginger Carafe - 40%
The Massenez Distillery is located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in the heart of the Alsace wine region. Founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a passionate master distiller, this iconic house preserves an ancestral know-how. In 1913, his son Eugène Massenez innovated by distilling wild raspberry eau-de-vie for the first time, an exceptional spirit that charmed the Queen of Sweden, making the distillery an official supplier to the Swedish royal court. The third generation, represented by Gabriel Eugène, strengthened the house's reputation by partnering with the greatest names in haute cuisine, collaborating with starred chefs like Paul Bocuse and prestigious restaurants such as La Tour d’Argent. Facing sustained growth, a new distillery was inaugurated in 1979 to meet international demand.
Today, the brand is present in more than 110 countries and offers an extensive range of refined spirits. In 2010, Massenez Distillery joined the Grandes Distilleries Peureux, known for their delicious Griottines. Under the presidency of Bernard Baud, this alliance brought a breath of modernity while respecting the authenticity and original DNA of the House.
This exceptional spirit drink is made by maceration followed by careful distillation of ginger root, offering an intense and unique flavor that appeals to lovers of quality spirits.
