The GlenAllachie is an iconic distillery located in Aberlour, in the heart of the prestigious Speyside region in Scotland. Founded in 1967, it began production in February 1968 with an initial capacity of nearly three million liters of alcohol per year, making it a must-know reference for lovers of Scottish whisky. After a hiatus in 1985, the GlenAllachie distillery was taken over by Campbell Distillers, then integrated into Pernod Ricard, before resuming continuous production from April 24, marking 29 consecutive years of excellence. Often nicknamed The Home of Clan Campbell Whisky, this distillery has built a solid reputation in the single malt world. In 2005, Chivas Brothers enriched the GlenAllachie range with the Cask Edition series, consolidating the image of a refined spirit. Since 2017, the expert trio Billy Walker, Trisha Savage, and Graham Stevenson joined forces to create The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited, bringing over a century of experience and unique know-how in the field of premium whisky.
Among the approximately 50,000 casks aging patiently in the distillery's warehouses, Billy Walker has rigorously selected only the finest whiskies to craft this remarkable 30-year-old maturation under the GlenAllachie label. This exceptional Batch 2 is a harmonious blend of 8 carefully chosen casks, composed of prestigious Sherry casks (Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso) as well as virgin oak, giving this single malt an incomparable aromatic complexity. This rare and precious masterpiece is limited to only 2,000 bottles worldwide, making each bottle a true collector's item for connoisseurs and discerning enthusiasts.
