A renowned owner of the prestigious Domaine du Château de la Tuilerie in Nîmes, where she was a winemaker, she now dedicates all her expertise to her unique role as a selector of exceptional rums, a profession she has passionately practiced since 1983. Inspired by André Depaz, the renowned owner of the Plantation de la Montagne Pelée, Chantal Comte innovated by creating a function previously unknown in the rum world, modeled on the "whisky blender and bottler" concept widely used in the whisky universe. Today, she reveals to the public the rarest and most precious reserves of Antillean rums, carefully chosen for their excellence. The Caribaea cuvée is an exceptional white agricole rum, rigorously selected and bottled by Chantal Comte in the prestigious cellars of Maison La Mauny. Sourced exclusively from vat 313, this cuvée was distilled in 2020 before being bottled in May 2021. A limited and highly sought-after release, with only 2,500 bottles available, makes this white agricole rum an essential rarity for discerning enthusiasts and demanding collectors.
