Tahona Blanco is made exclusively from carefully cultivated Tequilana Weber agaves, slowly cooked in stone ovens before being ground with a basalt tahona wheel, ensuring a gentle and flavor-friendly extraction. The musts are fermented in pine wood vats, then double-distilled in copper stills to preserve all the agave's aromatic richness and natural complexity. After resting in the vats to perfect the harmony of the material, the tequila is bottled at 40% without any added coloring, offering an unaged profile with the vegetal frankness and minerality typical of the Jalisco highlands.
On the nose, Tequila San Matias Tahona Blanco seduces with aromas of cooked agave, white flowers, and lemon zest, enhanced by notes of sweet pepper, fresh herbs, and a subtle hint of green vegetables.
