Private Garden No.14 is the fifth exclusive bottling made for Clos des Spiritueux. This fruitful collaboration between Michael from Swell de Spirits and Fabien and Thibault from Clos des Spiritueux has given birth to an exceptional rum, crafted from a TDL 2005 cask carefully selected over a year ago.
The originality of this rum lies in its extended finish of more than 10 months in a 1998 Caroni cask, coming from our emblematic Private Garden No.3 launched in 2023. This double maturation gives the TDL 2005 a rare aromatic complexity and incomparable taste depth. It is a first in the TDL range, as no Caroni finish had ever been done so long on this type of rum. We are convinced that this limited edition will generate great enthusiasm among enthusiasts and connoisseurs.
Distilled in 2005, this rum first aged 10 years under the tropics in Trinidad before benefiting from an additional 8 years of maturation in the United Kingdom. Bottled in January 2023, this Single Cask rum is offered at its exceptional natural strength of 61.6%. Only 140 rare bottles were produced, making this Private Garden No.14 a collector's item not to be missed.
