Every step, from sowing the local barley to distillation and aging in selected bourbon and sherry casks, was carried out on site, ensuring rare authenticity. Its deep golden color with copper highlights invites tasting. On the nose, a richly cereal framework expresses notes of buttery biscuit, golden bread crumb, and malt, lifted by fresh aromas of candied lemon, baked apple, ripe pear, complemented by touches of honey, vanilla, and finely salty caramel typical of the Campbeltown coast. A delicate and subtle marine smoke completes this generous and refined bouquet, signature of the unique Springbank style.

On the palate, the power of 55.2% unfolds harmoniously with a full and silky texture, without any aggressiveness. The aromatic profile intensifies on biscuity malt, creamy pastry cream, candied citrus, and subtle yellow fruits, supported by a majestic woody structure blending vanilla, toasted oak, and brown sugar. A saline minerality and a fine bitterness evoking oyster shell and orange peel structure the tasting and highlight perfect balance. Notes of discreet smoke, roasted cereal, walnut, and white pepper add complexity and extra depth. A splash of water reveals more of the fruity, herbal, and even slightly waxy character, in the purest Springbank tradition.
