Whisky MICHEL COUVREUR - Overaged Malt Whisky - L3453 - 43%

Independent bottler Michel Couvreur was originally a Burgundy wine producer and merchant. He turned to the world of whisky in 1978 and distilled for the first time in Edradour in 1986. At the time, he wanted to buy a distillery in Scotland but his wife opposed it and they decided to settle in Bouze-Lès-Beaune , halfway between Scotland and Andalusia, and to intervene in the maturation of whiskies; mainly in Sherry and Port casks. The range is very varied and meticulous work of blending, selection of new casks, unusual techniques is undertaken daily. Since his death in 2013, his son-in-law Cyril Deschamps and his wife Alexandra have continued Michel Couvreur's work.

Overaged is a blend of whiskies aged between 12 and 20 years, matured in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. This edition is bottled at 43% ABV.
