TEQUILA - OCHO - Vintage 2024 - Blanco - Las Raices - 40%
Tequila Ocho is made in Mexico . The brand was founded in 2008 by Carlos Camarena (a 5th-generation farmer and 3rd-generation Tequilero) and Tomas Estes, the man responsible for bringing tequila culture to Europe. Each bottle of Tequila Ocho showcases a unique terroir and is made from the Weber blue agave plant.
Las Raíces (the roots), located 7.5 km east of Los Alambiques, is a gentle south-sloping hill, rising to an elevation of 2,180 meters. A small forest of ash, oak, and poplar trees divides the property in two. The soil is the typical red clay of Los Altos, rich in iron and potassium. In the last 25 years, agave has only been planted twice. With approximately 142,000 mature agaves, this ranch is the largest ever used for the production of Tequila Ocho.
