The Clos des Spiritueux is located in Morey-Saint-Denis, the prestigious heart of the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy, a region world-renowned for its exceptional wines and refined eaux-de-vie. The original vineyard of Clos des Lambrays dates back to the 14^{th<\/sup> century. However, following the upheavals of the French Revolution, it was fragmented among 74 different owners. It was only in 1868 that the estate was gradually reunited. Over the centuries, the vineyard changed hands several times and experienced phases of decline before being revitalized in 1979 thanks to the acquisition by Roland de Chambure as well as Fabien and Louis Saier. Their commitment allowed the estate to regain its full splendor, culminating in 1981 with the official recognition of the vineyard as a Grand Cru. In 1996, the property was passed on to Gunter and Ruth Freund, and today, the Clos des Lambrays vineyard remains an almost exclusive jewel of the Domaine des Lambrays, a symbol of Burgundy excellence and authenticity.}
