The Domaine Brana is located in Ossès, in the heart of the Basque Country, a region renowned for its rich terroir and artisanal traditions. Founded in 1974 by Etienne Brana and his wife Adrienne, this family distillery planted an exceptional orchard of William pear trees, symbolizing local excellence. A passionate self-taught distiller, Etienne Brana lovingly developed the ancestral art of distillation and built his own copper stills. Today, it is Martine, his daughter and distiller, who perpetuates and enriches this unique know-how. She continuously innovates by blending fruits, spices, and plants to create authentic and refined products. The fruit brandies and liqueurs from Clos des Spiritueux are made using traditional maceration or double distillation processes in copper stills, ensuring exceptional quality and purity.
This exceptional William Pear eau-de-vie is made exclusively from pears grown in carefully tended orchards nearby.
