The GlenAllachie is an iconic distillery located in Aberlour, in the heart of the prestigious Speyside region in Scotland. Founded in 1967, this distillery began production with an impressive capacity of nearly three million liters of alcohol as early as February 1968. After a hiatus in 1985, it was taken over by Campbell Distillers (which later became part of Pernod Ricard), resuming continuous production for 29 consecutive years. Nicknamed "The Home of Clan Campbell Whisky," The GlenAllachie quickly established itself as a benchmark in the world of malt whisky. In 2005, Chivas Brothers introduced a GlenAllachie Single Malt in the Cask Edition collection, further enhancing the distillery's reputation for excellence. Since 2017, Billy Walker, Trisha Savage, and Graham Stevenson have combined their expertise by acquiring the distillery to create The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited, bringing over 100 years of know-how and passion to the whisky industry.
In 2018, the distillery innovated by producing peated whiskies for the first time, marking a bold turning point in its history. The exclusive Meikle Tòir range was launched in 2023, resulting from a meticulously orchestrated 5-year maturation in carefully selected casks to optimize complexity and aromatic richness.

This process imparts a unique character to this Single Malt, enhanced by the use of continental peat from Saint Fergus (Aberdeenshire), employed to dry the barley, thus bringing a soft and elegant smoke that distinguishes this whisky from other peated whiskies on the market.
