The GlenAllachie is an iconic distillery located in Aberlour, in the heart of the prestigious Speyside region in Scotland. Founded in 1967, this traditional distillery began production in February 1968 with an annual capacity of around three million liters of alcohol. After a hiatus in 1985, GlenAllachie was revived by Campbell Distillers (then a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard), restarting production on April 24, marking a dynamic period of 29 years of continuous operation. Nicknamed "The Home of Clan Campbell Whisky," the distillery solidified its reputation. In 2005, Chivas Brothers expanded its range with the release of GlenAllachie Single Malt in the renowned Cask Edition series. More recently, in 2017, Billy Walker, Trisha Savage, and Graham Stevenson combined their expertise to acquire GlenAllachie and create The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited, bringing together over a century of unique know-how in the world of exceptional whisky.
This 18-year-old single malt is enhanced by a carefully orchestrated maturation in an exclusive blend of Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, and Virgin Oak casks, imparting remarkable aromatic richness and captivating complexity to this whisky.
