The GlenAllachie is a prestigious distillery located in Aberlour, in the heart of the famous Speyside region in Scotland, worldwide renowned for its exceptional single malt whiskies. Founded in 1967, this distillery began its first significant production in February 1968, with an annual capacity of around three million liters of alcohol. After a period of dormancy in 1985, it was revived thanks to Campbell Distillers – later integrated into the Pernod Ricard group – before undergoing a continuous production period lasting 29 years. Nicknamed "The Home of Clan Campbell Whisky," GlenAllachie established itself as a reference. In 2005, Chivas Brothers enriched the range with the release of a GlenAllachie Single Malt in the prestigious Cask Edition series. Since 2017, a trio of industry experts, Billy Walker, Trisha Savage, and Graham Stevenson, took over the distillery, founding The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited and bringing over 100 years of expertise to the production.
The GlenAllachie 15 years old represents the heart of their premium range, launched in 2019 for discerning enthusiasts. This single malt benefits from carefully orchestrated maturation with an extended finish in puncheon and hogshead casks, previously used to refine exceptional sherries – notably Pedro Ximénez Sherry and Oloroso – thus imparting a unique aromatic richness, with intense and complex notes that captivate connoisseurs.
