The Ron Coloma is an exceptional rum crafted at Hacienda Coloma, a renowned coffee estate located at 1,700 meters altitude, in the heart of Colombia. Don Alberto Constain Medina, passionate and visionary, dreamed of creating a high-quality Colombian rum with a unique character. After several decades of effort and attempts at clandestine distillation, the Colombian government finally relaxed its monopoly on spirit production in 2005. Although Don Alberto has since passed away, his son took up the torch and continued this family dream with ambition. In addition to the famous coffee liqueur, they now produce an exceptional rum in collaboration with the two most talented Colombian master rum makers, Sandra Restegui and Judith Ramirez.

These experts have developed a rich and complex sugarcane molasses rum, aged continuously and traditionally (excluding the solera method) in American oak barrels that previously held Bourbon. To give it a unique and refined signature, this rum is also finished in barrels that were used to age the famous Coloma coffee liqueur, imparting inimitable woody and coffee notes. The Ron Coloma is then diluted with pure water from the Andes Mountains and filtered through the authentic old coffee filters of Hacienda Coloma, ensuring remarkable purity and finesse in every bottle.
