Whisky MICHEL COUVREUR - Cap a Pie - 45%
\nThe independent bottler Michel Couvreur originally is a renowned wine producer and merchant from Burgundy. Since 1978, he has been passionate about the world of quality craft whisky and first distilled at the Édradour distillery in 1986. Initially, Michel Couvreur wanted to acquire a distillery in Scotland, but his wife opposed this project. Together, they decided to settle in Bouze-Lès-Beaune, an exceptional terroir located halfway between Scotland and Andalusia, where they focus on the unique maturation and aging of whiskies in selected casks, mainly from Pedro Ximénez Sherry and Port. This original approach promotes refined aging and rich, complex aromas. The Michel Couvreur range stands out for exceptional diversity and meticulous blending work, with a rigorous selection of new casks and innovative techniques that guarantee sovereign quality. Since Michel Couvreur's death in 2013, his son-in-law Cyril Deschamps and his wife Alexandra have continued this tradition of excellence and authenticity.
