Wemyss Malts (pronounced "Weyms' Malts") is an independent bottler from Scotland renowned for its unique expertise in the whisky world. Founded in 2005 by siblings William and Isabella Wemyss, this house draws its roots from a rich family tradition deeply embedded in the history of Scottish whisky. Indeed, the Wemyss family is directly linked to the creation of the very first distillery on their lands located in the prestigious Kingdom of Fife as early as 1840 by Haig. This exceptional terroir, benefiting from an ideal climate and soil, has been cultivated for decades to produce top-quality barley, thus supplying the best maltsters who craft exceptional whiskies. Inspired by his experience alongside master wine blenders from southern France, William Wemyss revolutionizes the whisky approach with bold creations, while Isabella Wemyss, endowed with an incomparable flair for excellence, rigorously selects Single Malts from Scotland and the best casks from the world's most renowned wine regions. Together, with their expert Master Blender, they create unique blends, rich in flavor and balanced, that captivate the most demanding enthusiasts.

The Hive is a harmonious and refined blend composed of base malts representing 62% of light and delicately soft Speyside Single Malts, complemented by a support malt (8% Speyside Single Malt with intense and complex aromas) and a signature malt fruity (30% Speyside Single Malt rich in character). This whisky perfectly reflects the art of distillation and mastered aging typical of this emblematic region.
